Omoda used its first appearance at the 2026 Paris Motor Show to reveal the C4 and an updated C5, confirming that both SUVs are planned for Chile in 2027. The company highlighted new connectivity features, driver-assistance technology and hybrid as well as fully electric powertrains. Chilean prices, exact launch dates and local specifications have not been announced; figures shared so far refer to European versions.

The C4 measures 4.42 metres long, with a 2.70-metre wheelbase. Its cabin pairs an 8.8-inch digital instrument display with a 13.2-inch portrait infotainment screen, while luggage capacity is projected to exceed 400 litres and rise above 1,100 litres with the rear seats folded. The C5 is larger at 4.53 metres and gets a 15.6-inch central screen alongside an 8.9-inch driver display. Both models use a Qualcomm 8155 processor and offer app-based functions such as remote climate control and vehicle-location checks.

European hybrid versions combine a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine with an electric motor, generator and 1.83-kWh battery. Omoda lists 224 CV and 295 Nm, with projected combined fuel economy near 19.2 km/l, pending homologation. The C4 EV has a 160-kW motor and 67-kWh battery, with projected range above 450 km; the C5 EV pairs a 155-kW motor with a 61-kWh battery and claims up to 430 km on the WLTP cycle.

The company also said its C4 and C5 EVs support fast charging, with the C4 rated at up to 120 kW and the C5 at up to 130 kW. After Paris, Omoda & Jaecoo planned further announcements at an international user summit in China from October 19 to 24, including the global debut of the Omoda X.
