Omoda says production of the O4 electric vehicle in Indonesia is due to begin in November 2026, with the model’s official price to be announced around the start of production. The car was introduced in Indonesia in July, and company president Shawn Xu said local interest has been positive. Indonesia was also the first market chosen for the O4’s global debut.

Customers have been able to place orders since the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, held about two months before the report. The booking fee is Rp 5 million per vehicle; no retail price has been disclosed yet.

The O4 has a 65.05-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a claimed range of up to 553 km on the NEDC test cycle. Its DC fast-charging capacity reaches 119 kW, allowing a 20-to-80% charge in 22 minutes. The electric motor produces up to 160 kW and 275 Nm, and Omoda quotes a 0–100 km/h time of 7.1 seconds.

Omoda also highlights a Super AI Cockpit built around an Agentic AI architecture and a large language model. Its 10 AI agents are divided into two groups; the article describes the command-understanding group as handling complex voice requests, vehicle controls, navigation and real-time vehicle monitoring. The exterior is presented as a futuristic, sporty design under the Cyber Mecha theme.
