Omoda unveiled the X Concept at its global International User Summit in Wuhu, China, presenting it as a preview of future lifestyle crossovers and SUVs. The concept is designed to cover weekday urban driving and weekend leisure use, with an emphasis on cabin space, versatility and personalisation. Omoda says its specifications and production plans are not final, and it has yet to announce launch timing or regional availability.

The exterior develops Omoda’s angular “Cyber Mecha” design language, previously shown on the Omoda 4. Its wider body, pronounced shoulders and sculpted sides are displayed in silver and green, both with black roofs. Lighting details connect the concept with the existing range: the rear lamps echo the Omoda 7 and upcoming Omoda 4, while the arrow-shaped front daytime running lights relate to the Omoda 5’s rear design.

The cabin combines a 10.25-inch instrument display and 13.2-inch central touchscreen with physical controls for frequently used functions. Other features include conversational voice assistance, a configurable X-MODE driving program, four-zone audio pickup for karaoke and infrared night vision with hazard detection up to 90 metres. Practicality claims include 200 mm of ground clearance, a 75 kg roof-load limit, 39 storage spaces and a targeted maximum towing capacity of 1,800 kg. These figures may change before any production version is confirmed.
