SAIC-owned Roewe has launched the Jiayue 07 in China, offering the five-seat SUV in four versions. Discounted launch prices range from 119,800 to 144,800 yuan, compared with official list prices of 127,800 to 152,800 yuan. The company says pre-orders passed 50,000; bookings opened on September 21, topping 10,000 in the first hour and 20,000 within 48 hours. Customer deliveries are scheduled to start on November 1, 2026.
The Jiayue 07 uses an extended-range electric system pairing a 1.5-liter petrol engine, rated at 72 kW and used to generate electricity, with a 162-kW rear electric motor producing 350 Nm. Buyers can choose a 32.6-kWh or 44.2-kWh LFP battery. Roewe quotes electric-only driving ranges of 220 km or 320 km and a total range of up to 1,480 km. The reported fuel-consumption figure is 4.97–5.29 liters per 100 km, and fast charging from 30% to 80% can take as little as 15 minutes.
A lidar sensor is fitted to three of the four versions, supporting driver-assistance features for urban and highway navigation without map reliance. Other equipment includes automated parking for more than 300 parking-space types. The SUV measures 4.9 meters long, has a 2.908-meter wheelbase and offers up to 915 liters of rear storage. Roewe says it has no specific export or Middle East sales plans to announce, though SAIC has described the model’s development as guided by a global outlook.
