Wuling and local partner TMT Group introduced the Mini EV Macaron in Hanoi on October 16, as part of a wider Vietnamese product showcase that also included the Bingo 2026, Darion and Grango. The Macaron comes in two versions: the 205-km model costs VND 279 million, while the 300-km version is priced at VND 339 million. For customers who place a pre-order, Wuling is offering a VND 10 million discount, a 7-kW home charger and one year of body insurance. With the discount, prices are VND 269 million and VND 329 million, before on-road costs.
A key change from the earlier Mini EV is the Macaron’s five-door layout, which makes access to the rear seats easier. The small car measures 3,260 mm long, 1,510 mm wide and 1,580 mm tall, with a 2,190-mm wheelbase. Its luggage space starts at 123 litres and can expand to 745 litres with the rear seats folded. Equipment listed includes a reversing camera and sensors, ABS, EBD, ESC, hill-start assistance and ISOFIX child-seat anchors. Five exterior colors are available.
Both versions have a stated top speed of 100 km/h. The Macaron also adds CCS2 DC fast charging, with a claimed 30-to-80% charge time of about 35 minutes. In Vietnam, it will face locally made VinFast alternatives: the VF 2 is listed from VND 188 million and the VF 3 from VND 285 million. The article notes VinFast’s extensive charging network as an advantage, while third-party charging provision remains less developed.
