XPeng’s Thai importer plans to introduce the G9L electric D-segment SUV in Thailand on November 11, 2026, ahead of the country’s Motor Expo. The launch will make it the fourth XPeng model offered locally, following the G6, X9 and L03. The Thai-market version is described as a three-row, six-seat vehicle, with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration at the top of the range.
The stated powertrain produces 585 hp and 695 Nm, drawing energy from a 110 kWh NMC battery on an 800V system. XPeng lists a 0–100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds and a WLTP range of 553 km. DC fast charging is rated at up to 540 kW, with a claimed 10–80% charge time of 12 minutes.
The G9L measures 5,120 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,782 mm tall, with a 3,100 mm wheelbase. Luggage capacity is quoted at 259–1,330 litres, depending on rear-seat configuration, and the front trunk holds 65 litres. The article also names four expected exterior colors and two cabin color choices.
For reference, the top five-seat AWD version in China is priced at 319,800 yuan, equivalent to about 1.62 million baht before Thai taxes. Thai pricing and equipment details have not yet been announced.
