Avatr is preparing to add the 07 crossover to its Russian lineup, with three versions planned: one rear-wheel-drive model and two all-wheel-drive variants. The model has received Russian vehicle type approval, and the brand says prices will be disclosed later. Avatr, a premium joint project involving Changan, Huawei and CATL, already sells the all-electric 11 SUV and 12 sedan in Russia through Changan’s local operation.

All three 07 versions use a range-extender system. A 1.5-litre, 143-hp engine generates electricity for a 39.05-kWh CATL battery; charging is supported at up to 120 kW through CCS2 or 6.6 kW on AC. The rear-drive version has a 314-hp electric motor and reaches 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. Its stated electric range is 207 km and combined range is 932 km, both measured on the NEDC cycle. The all-wheel-drive versions produce 502 hp, reach 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and are rated for 197 km of electric driving and 900 km overall.

The AWD models add air suspension, 21-inch wheels and premium cabin equipment including Meridian audio with 25 speakers, leather trim and massage seats. All versions include large cabin displays, ventilated front seats and a suite of driver-assistance and safety features. Russian-market cars are also specified with cold-weather equipment such as heated seats in both rows, a heated steering wheel and remote cabin warming. The larger Avatr 11 currently costs 6.99 million to 8.49 million rubles in Russia; the 07 is expected to be cheaper.
