BAIC plans to bring the B60 hybrid SUV to Brazil as its fourth model in the market, but has not set a launch date. The company is deciding whether to introduce the version already offered in China, with a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine, or wait for a flex-fuel powertrain being developed with Bosch. The B60 is described as a seven-seat, off-road-oriented SUV.

The vehicle uses a range-extender electric architecture: its wheels are driven by electric motors, while energy comes from a 40.3-kWh battery or from electricity generated by the combustion engine. The 1.5-liter turbo produces 188 hp and is paired with a generator rated at the equivalent of 123 hp. Drive is supplied by electric motors producing 208 hp at the front and 340 hp at the rear. BAIC cites up to 152 km of electric-only range and a total range of 1,200 km under China’s CLTC test cycle; the fuel tank holds 82 liters.

The SUV measures 5.04 meters long, 1.95 meters wide and 1.95 meters tall, with a 2.82-meter wheelbase. Its cabin can have as many as six screens, including a pair of 12.8-inch central displays and an AI voice assistant. Listed features include front seats with leg rests, ventilation, three-stage heating and eight-mode massage, plus a 12-speaker Infinity audio system.

BAIC entered Brazil in August 2026 and aims to offer 10 models there by the end of 2028. Its Arcfox T1 electric car has launched, the Arcfox T5 is expected in early November, and the hybrid B30 is planned for the first quarter of the following year. BAIC models will focus on hybrids, while Arcfox will sell fully electric cars.
