Chery’s iCaur brand plans to unveil the V25 in Brazil in October 2026, but buyers will have to wait until 2027 for sales to begin. The five-seat SUV takes styling cues from the Land Rover Defender and classic Toyota Land Cruiser, and is intended to join the growing group of Chinese hybrid off-roaders in the market.

The V25 measures 4.64 metres long, 1.92 metres wide and 1.86 metres tall, with a 2.82-metre wheelbase. Its raised suspension is paired with approach and departure angles of 30 and 28 degrees. Other exterior details include 21-inch alloy wheels, full-LED lighting and a 22.7-litre external storage box in place of a full-size spare-wheel enclosure.

Its powertrain uses a 1.5-litre Acteco TGDI petrol engine as a generator for two electric motors, one on each axle, providing all-wheel drive. The stated electric-only range is 150 km; Chery has not yet disclosed the combined range. In China, the V25 has LiDAR, but that equipment will not be offered in Brazil. The model is also described with 26 sensors, cameras and radars, plus a Horizon Journey 6P chip rated at 560 TOPS for the Falcon Pilot 700+ driver-assistance system.
