Denza’s B3 electric SUV has been seen undergoing road tests in São Paulo, ahead of a planned Brazilian launch later in 2026. The model is part of BYD’s effort to expand its luxury brand in Brazil, and local pricing is expected to be around R$350,000. In China, the same SUV is sold under BYD’s Fangchengbao brand as the Tai 3; for Brazil, it will use the Denza name, following the larger B5. Unlike the B5, the B3 is fully electric.

The first version planned for Brazil is the range-topping 4×4, rated at 510 hp and 52 kgfm of torque. The publication says it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a 75-kWh battery. BYD is beginning to build a Brazilian network of 1,000-kW chargers, and the B3 is expected to support the company’s flash-charging technology.

The test vehicle carried a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor for BYD’s God’s Eye driver-assistance systems, although the article says this equipment is currently limited to the Chinese market. Cabin features include a 15.6-inch touchscreen and a head-up display. The B3 is also expected to offer a console refrigerator-freezer, 50-W wireless phone charging, Devialet audio and controls for its four-wheel-drive system.

It measures 4.60 metres long, 1.90 metres wide and has a 2.74-metre wheelbase. The article attributes the extended wheelbase to a platform designed specifically for electric vehicles and puts the SUV’s weight above 1,900 kg. Denza hopes the B3 can build on the Brazilian reception of the B5, which the publication describes as one of the country’s best-selling luxury cars in 2026, with prices starting at R$405,000.
