Geely Auto Pakistan has released a social-media teaser suggesting an announcement may be near. The date October 24 appeared in the video, but the company has not confirmed whether it is a vehicle launch, a public unveiling or another event. The report, published October 19, says the lineup expected in Pakistan comprises the EX2 and EX5 electric vehicles and the Starray plug-in hybrid, through local partner Bestway Automotive.

The EX2 is a compact electric hatchback with a 39.4-kWh battery, 114 hp and 150 Nm. Its stated range is up to 410 km under the CLTC test cycle, and it has rear-wheel drive. The EX5 is an electric SUV with a 60.2-kWh battery, 218 hp and 320 Nm; its stated CLTC range is up to 530 km, with front-wheel drive. The article identifies the Dongfeng Box and Chery Q as potential EX2 rivals, and the BYD Atto 3, Jaecoo J6 and Dongfeng Vigo as EX5 competitors.

The Starray pairs a 1.5-liter petrol engine with an 18.4-kWh battery. Its combined output is listed at 260 hp and 387 Nm, with up to 105 km of electric-only range on the NEDC cycle. Its inclusion in the October 24 event is uncertain. The EX2 and EX5 were spotted in Pakistan on September 26. All three models are initially expected to arrive as imported complete vehicles, with local assembly planned later at a Karachi plant. Pakistan-specific specifications, prices and booking details have not been announced.
