GWM Tank 300 petrol models are being offered at reduced prices by a dealer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The standard petrol version is listed at VND1.18 billion, down from VND1.399 billion. The higher-spec petrol model has a quoted VND230 million sales-support offer, bringing its price from VND1.469 billion to about VND1.239 billion. The article says these are dealer-provided figures, not a uniform nationwide price list, and actual offers depend on location, trim, sales terms and timing.

The Tank 300 is a body-on-frame SUV with four-wheel drive and off-road features including differential locks and dedicated driving modes. It measures about 4,760 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,930 mm tall, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. Petrol versions use a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine; the HEV combines a turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor. The dealer quoted prices of VND1.649 billion and VND1.749 billion for the two HEV versions, each VND50 million below its listed price.

A mid-cycle Tank 300 update debuted in China in July 2026, with changes to 553 details and revised interior and exterior elements. It added a plug-in hybrid variant with an electric-only range of nearly 200 km, as well as a Tank 300L with a 3,010 mm wheelbase. The updated model and longer-wheelbase version are not the Tank 300 currently being sold in Vietnam, according to the report.
